Seaside house

As a child, the smell of the sea preened in my bones. It stayed there. This house represents a part of my journey; what I am, what I don't yet know I am, and what I will be. Purchased by my family after the global pandemic period, it was the first opportunity to try my hand at being an Architect concretely. I started from small things, taking my time. Using a color, moving a chair, letting the stones rest. Time stops and space expands through silence. With an immensity of things to do, I learned to prioritize what I deemed to be the most important. To enjoy what I once would have called “unfinished.” The beauty of imperfection. The order of things is entropy. The architect harnesses nothing. He gives freedom to everything; to those who know how to listen.
